Over 30 people gathered in Cork to explore stories of hope together! The theme running through the morning was all about unity and the call to work together in mission. We were led in worship by Ernie – lovely way to start the day! Then Jody shared a beautiful reflection on the poem _______ to remind of us of God’s love and that it is the starting point for all we do.

The first speaker to share was Dave Hoey from Cork Street Pastors – amazing stories of encounters, service, and ways to work ecumenically! Then we had a networking coffee break (always need more time for these bits!). Then we had a panel of 4 stories – first was Ernie sharing about Serve the City Cork which provides very practical service to those in our community, second was Tanya from Alpha sharing about the collaboration between churches in the Douglas area which had led to much fruit, thirdly was Alan sharing about the business as mission concept and co-working space in Kinsale that he has helped start, and finally we heard from Lucy about Prayer Spaces in Schools where she has found a way to be missional in her local area. Then we finished with lunch with lots of conversations and dreaming of mission, church, and more!
