We’re delighted to invite you to a space for conversation, learning, and connection — exploring what it means to cultivate Kingdom ecosystems – that include redemptive enterprise, works of justice, intentional homes & tables, to live with courage, faithfulness, and hope in today’s world.

| WHAT TO EXPECT

It’s a privilege to welcome Hugh Halter and Taylor McCall, who will share their story and help us engage in the vision of their book Brave Cities. Alongside them, we’ll hear from Irish contributors who are already living out these ideas in creative and grounded ways.

The gathering will include teaching & stories from all the contributors, space for discussion, reflection, prayer, & worship as well as opportunities to connect with others over tables and meals!

We would love for you to join us — as together we rediscover what it means to “create new songs of God’s Kingdom for all to hear.”

Contributors

Hugh Halter

Hugh is a leading voice in the contemporary missional church movement and author of The Tangible Kingdom and other books. He has planted churches in Portland and Denver, and founded Lantern Network in Alton, Illinois.

He lives on an 80-acre farm with his wife Cheryl, supports emerging apostolic leaders through Brave Cities, and travels widely to speak and encourage new expressions of church.

David & Jill Hines - The Commons

David and Jill Hines have been helping the Ballynafeigh Circuit in South Belfast to develop a long-term mission strategy based around prayer and hospitality to the least, the last and the lost. The buildings and land of the Ballynafeigh Methodist Church are being developed into a Community Hub called “The Commons”.

Reuben Coulter - Faith Driven Investor & Entrepreneur

Reuben Coulter is Director of International Strategy at Faith Driven Investor and Entrepreneur, where he works to equip and connect Christian entrepreneurs and investors to integrate faith into business and finance. He has a background in global development and impact investing, having previously served as CEO of Transformational Business Network, worked with the World Economic Forum, and founded Tearfund Ireland.

Driven by a long-standing calling to address poverty, Reuben is passionate about the role of business and investment in creating sustainable change. He champions “non-traditional ministry,” encouraging Christians to see entrepreneurship and investing as powerful avenues for social, economic, and spiritual impact in communities around the world.

Patrick Mitchel - IBI

As a disciple of Jesus, Bible teacher, and church leader, Patrick has long been fascinated by the gospels and Jesus’ message of the Kingdom of God, and what it looks like for believers to live as citizens of that kingdom together in 21st century Ireland. In his day job he is Director of Learning and lectures in theology at Irish Bible Institute. He is an elder in Maynooth Community Church and married to Ines. 

Taylor McCall

Taylor is a serial entrepreneur who has served in ministry since 1999. For over 15 years, he and his wife Lindsey have worked in urban communities, planting churches and helping launch more than 20 businesses and a business incubator.

Now based in Alton, Illinois with their five children, he works with Lantern Network and co-leads Brave Cities with Hugh Halter, helping reimagine the church as an integrated ecosystem of community, business, and justice.

Malini Colville - Glenside Farm

Malini Colville co-owns Glenside Farm in Comber, County Down, which she runs with her husband, Iain. Alongside farming, she leads its development as a community-focused social enterprise, established in 2021 to promote health and wellbeing through farming, nature, and community. The farm offers workshops, events, and shared spaces that foster connection, belonging, and personal growth.

Sean Mullan - Third Space

Seán Mullan is the founder and director of Third Space, a social enterprise café and community hub in Dublin city centre. Through Third Space, he has helped create welcoming neighbourhood spaces that foster connection, hospitality, and social impact, combining a sustainable business model with support for local community initiatives.

With a background as a marine navigation officer and later as a church planter and leader in Cork and Dublin, Seán has spent many years working at the intersection of faith, community, and city life. His work reflects a passion for urban mission, social enterprise, and creating spaces where people can gather, belong, and engage in meaningful conversation.
