DESCRIPTION:Forge Ireland has trained 40 people over 4 cohorts of the Forge Pioneering Course since 2019. This initiative started years ago in Australia by Alan Hirsch and now exists in Scotland\, England/Wales\, Sweden\, the US\, and Canada. \nThe course is a journey for those who sense that God might be leading them into creating new expressions of church. Through a combination of teaching\, mentoring\, and tasks\, our aim is to prepare people to launch into what God is calling them to do. Forge Ireland is led by active missional practitioners who are able to offer significant experiential training in pioneering contexts. It is more about the journey than the course itself. We want to see the Irish church flourish in new and creative ways! DESCRIPTION:This learning community is hosted by Sam Moore and Donna Jennings. \nWhere might we begin to make practical changes to reshape the church for mission in a post-Christian era? \nHow can we make space to reflect together and listen to others on what it means to be God’s people in these times? \nIn Faithful Presence\, David Fitch outlines 7 disciplines that shape the church for mission. Over the course of the spring\, Donna Jennings and Sam Moore will facilitate a learning community that makes space to read and reflect on these disciplines and begin to make small yet meaningful changes to earth them in our contexts. \nWe recognise the time pressures of church leadership and the importance of taking time and space to reflect\, learn and act. Before Dublin he and his wife Karen have served in Longford\, Cork and Kerry. He served as President of the Methodist Church in Ireland from 2017-2018.

DESCRIPTION:We are excited to gather this October. We hope to gather creatives\, pioneers\, entrepreneurs\, church leaders\, community leaders\, those working with the marginalised\, young adults\, women in leadership\, and more. On Friday\, each of these strands will meet to share\, eat\, and wrestle with a few missional questions together. Everyone is invited to a community meal on Friday evening then Saturday will be a mixture of keynote speakers\, a panel\, and the strands contributing to the wider conversation. DESCRIPTION:Forge Ireland has trained 40 people over 4 cohorts of the Forge Pioneering Course since 2019. This initiative started years ago in Australia by Alan Hirsch and now exists in Scotland\, England/Wales\, Sweden\, the US\, and Canada. \nThe course is a leadership training and mentoring programme for those who sense that God might be leading them into creating new expressions of church. Through a combination of teaching\, mentoring and tasks\, our aim is to prepare people to launch into what God is calling them to do. Forge Ireland is led by active missional practitioners who are able to offer significant experiential training in pioneering contexts. It is more about the journey than the course itself. We want to see the Irish church flourish in new and creative ways!
