If you’re someone living in the southern bit of Ireland (Munster) and are wanting to live more missionally\, want to share\, pray and learn from others then this is for you! \nLearning Communities have been a core piece of the Praxis Movement since we began in 2018. This Dublin Learning Community started pre-COVID and since 2023 has started meeting in person again when it’s helpful. \nLearning Communities are small groups of 6-15 people who gather to share\, learn\, eat\, pray\, and encourage. Often there is content input from someone in the group and then someone to share a story of mission (challenge or joy…sure we know there’s both for us all!) \nWe have a few people committed to taking part so do join us in this new group. \nSign up / express your interest here. DESCRIPTION:This learning community is hosted by Sam Moore and Donna Jennings. \nWhere might we begin to make practical changes to reshape the church for mission in a post-Christian era? \nHow can we make space to reflect together and listen to others on what it means to be God’s people in these times? \nIn Faithful Presence\, David Fitch outlines 7 disciplines that shape the church for mission. Over the course of the spring\, Donna Jennings and Sam Moore will facilitate a learning community that makes space to read and reflect on these disciplines and begin to make small yet meaningful changes to earth them in our contexts. \nWe recognise the time pressures of church leadership and the importance of taking time and space to reflect\, learn and act. After college he worked in agricultural development and youth work in Haiti and Antigua before returning to Ireland and (much to his surprise) being called by God to train as a Methodist Minister. Before Dublin he and his wife Karen have served in Longford\, Cork and Kerry. He served as President of the Methodist Church in Ireland from 2017-2018.
